Learn2Code.Live (Whizara)

Company: Whizara
Period: 04/2025 - 06/2025
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Description

Worked part time teaching middle school students (6-8 grade) introductory robotics and programming concepts using Lego Spike PRIME. This was surprisingly challenging. I have gained a deeper appreciation of teachers that work with younger students.

    Period: 06/2023 - 08/2023
    Location: El Segundo, CA
    Description

  • Modeling, simulation, & analysis in support of United States Space Force acquisition decision process. Integrated space mission simulation tools into an automated system-level trade study execution architecture utilizing Ansys/Phoenix ModelCenter
  • Created CLI Python scripts to query space-track.org REST API and ingest into SQLite3 database.
  • Utilized MATLAB's machine learning toolboxes and KNN classifiers to distinguish existence of maneuvers from Two Line Elements (TLEs), orbital elements tabular data.
  • Employed Multi-Disciplinary Analysis Optimization (MDAO) methodology to define and execute an orbital debris remediation trade study. Utilized ModelCenter to implement a weighted objective function to find a system configuration optimized for cost and maneuvering performance.
  • Simulated launch, mission maneuvering, and debris remediation techniques with MATLAB, Python, and Ansys/AGI Systems Toolkit (STK).
  • Provided weekly written status reports and weekly demonstrations of progress to leadership team. Presented final report to company leadership and USSF customer.
  • Utilized Agile Kanban and Atlassian Jira for all task assignments, wrote extensive documentation on Atlassian Confluence, and communicated via Microsoft Teams.

Tutelage under Prof. Joshua Stough at Bucknell University

    Period: 05/2022 - 08/2022
    Location: Lewisburg, PA
    Description

  • Enhanced a data pipeline for post-processing deep learning model outputs, successfully calculated ejection fraction (EF) and global longitudinal strain (GLS) from echocardiograms in a Python (NumPy, PyTorch, etc.) multi-GPU Linux environment.
  • Analyzed echocardiographic data from 1065 patients, achieving a correlation of r=0.54 for EF estimation, demonstrated the effectiveness of the convolutional model in large-scale clinical applications.
  • The code, which is admittedly messy, unorganized, and not up the standard I would ever, ever push to any production system, can be found here on my github.
